During lockdown in 2020, I started DEEP Teaching, a YouTube channel with the aim of providing value and support to teachers. The question I get asked a lot is, “why DEEP?”

DEEP has always stood for Develop, Engage, Explore, Progress, characteristics that I felt epitomised both teachers and students. Now, in 2023, I have expanded that mission to establish DEEP Professional, and with it, expanded DEEP into Developing Education through Enhancing Performance.

Today, It is my vision that DEEP continues to thrive, fostering a supportive and engaging environment that nurtures personal and professional growth in the education community.

    Alex Gray graduated in 2005 with A BSc in Human Biology, and a year later gained a PGCE in Science. He has taught across grammar and boarding schools in the West Midlands UK, before moving to Dubai in 2015. Whilst living in the UAE has has gained a Masters in Education and completed a NPQ Leading Teaching Development (2023). He has experience in IB; MYP and DP and the UK National Curriculum; GCSE and A Level.
